Most of us can only dream of doing the Vendee Globe single-handed race around the World, well Pip is living the dream, or nightmare she may think, and will be on the start line in November 2020 having only started her solo career 10 years ago in the Mini 650's. As Pip will tell us, the race started a long time ago, just the challenge of getting to the start is huge. Let's help her on the journey and become part of it.
Kass, a regular SORC particpant, is preparing for her 2nd attempt at the OSTAR. She endured hurricane force storms in the 2017 edition which resulted in her retirement, so she is determined to compete and finish the 2020 Edition. Kass will explain the unique challenges of this epic Oceanic race, and how she is preparing for this solo adventure.
Jeremy will recount hi victory in the recent RORC Transat Race in the JPK1010 "Jangada" with Richard Palmer, when they won the race overall which is a first for a double-handed crew. He will explain how they won the race and dealt with a mid-Atlantic man overboard incident!
