It's back, by popular demand, the Celtic Sea Challenge is a unique series of race courses appropriate to the forecast conditions which are intended to start following the SORC Offshore Race to Falmouth. The Challenge will start from Falmouth and is intended to include SW Ireland, where boats completing the Volvo Round Ireland Race can join us, and finishing back in Plymouth.
The course is still being designed, with local expert help, and will be announced here soon. It will include sailing in amongst the most beautiful scenary you can imagine and some suprb socials. All who competed in our last event, in 2014, can confirm that this is a "must do" event!
The final event fee will be set to include berthing fees, event cltothing and some socials, but in the meantime we are asking for a £50 deposit to declare your intention to compete. This will be set against the entry fee or refunded, if requested, prior to 31st March 2020 or if your entry is declined. All entries will be subject to the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions when issued, and the SORC Committee reserve the right to decline any entries they deem not suitable.
