The 2025 SORC season kicks off on Saturday 5th April with a training day followed by a race on Sunday 6th April. An excellent opportunity to warm yourself and your boat up for the coming season.
Based out of Mercury Yacht Harbour on the River Hamble, with berths available on Friday and Saturday evenings with a social on Saturday night. Contact the marina direct to book your berth and say your are part of the SORC Rally.

The weekends outline program offers...
Saturday morning - CSB practice starts in the Central Solent followed by a short pratice non-points scoring race. CSB stands for Competitor Start Boat procedures, which SORC use to start races remotely.
Saturday afternoon - OSR Inspections on an informal advisory basis, to help you prepare your boat to comply to safety regs in races your are entering this season.
Saturday evening - Enjoy an informal dinner and SORC chinwag in the Ketch Rigger at Mercury Yacht Harbour.
Sunday - SORC Inshore Series Race 1 (see Sailing Instructions below)....
